করোনা থেকে মুক্তি মিললেও এখনো সুস্থ হয়ে উঠতে পারেননি বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়া। এক মাসেরও বেশি সময় ধরে তিনি হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা নিচ্ছেন। এর মধ্যে কিডনি, হার্টের সমস্যা দেখা দেয়ায় কবে নাগাদ তিনি সুস্থ হয়ে বাসায় ফিরতে পারবেন তা নিয়ে নিশ্চিত করে কিছু বলতে পারছেন না চিকিৎসকরা। ফলে ক্রমেই তাকে নিয়ে উদ্বেগ বাড়ছে বিএনপিতে।
সবশেষ এক টুইট বার্তায় চেয়ারপারসনের ‘শারীরিক জটিলতা’ নিয়ে উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন বিএনপির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর।
শনিবার এক টুইট বার্তায় তিনি লিখেছেন, আমরা উদ্বিগ্ন। দেশনেত্রী বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার অ্যাডভান্স ট্রিটমেন্ট দরকার, তার অসুখগুলো নিয়ে অ্যাডভান্স সেন্টারে যাওয়া জরুরি। তার হার্ট ও কিডনির সমস্যা আছে। ফান্ডামেন্টাল কিছু সমস্যা রয়েছে যে সমস্যাগুলো উদ্বেগজনক।
গত ১১ এপ্রিল করোনা পরীক্ষায় পজিটিভ রিপোর্ট আসে খালেদা জিয়ার। ১৫ এপ্রিল সিটি স্ক্যান করান তিনি। অক্সিজেনজনিত সমস্যা দেখা দিলে ২৭ এপ্রিল রাতে রাজধানীর এভারকেয়ার হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন তিনি।
২৮ এপ্রিল ব্যক্তিগত ও এভারকেয়ার হাসপাতালের চিকিৎসকদের সমন্বয়ে ১০ সদস্যের মেডিকেল বোর্ড গঠন করা হয়।
হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় ৬ মে খালেদা জিয়ার করোনা পরীক্ষার রেজাল্ট নেগেটিভ আসে। এক মাস পর গত ৩ জুন খালেদা জিয়াকে সিসিইউ থেকে বিশেষ কেবিনে স্থানান্তর করা হয়। এখনো সেখানেই তার চিকিৎসা চলছে।
