ম্যাচটা অবশ্য আগুয়া সান্তা জেতেনি। নেইমারের নৈপুণ্যে জয় পেয়েছে সান্তোস। ৩-১ ব্যবধানে জয়ে ১৪তম মিনিটে পেনাল্টি থেকে গোল করেন নেইমার। এটি ৫০৩ দিন পর তার প্রথম গোল। সাও পাওলো স্টেট চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের ম্যাচে নেইমার গোলের পাশাপাশি অ্যাসিস্টও করেছেন। প্রথমার্ধেই লিড দ্বিগুণ করেছেন থাসিয়ানো। আর ৭০ মিনিটে নেইমারের অ্যাসিস্টে গোল করেন গুইলেমে।
