নাটোরের গুরুদাসপুরে ছেলের মরদেহ দেখে হৃদযন্ত্রের ক্রিয়া বন্ধ হয়ে মারা গেছেন বাবাও। শনিবার (১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি) দিবাগত রাত ১০টার দিকে উপজেলার ধারাবারিষা ইউনিয়নের দাদুয়া গ্রামে এ ঘটনা ঘটে। স্থানীয়রা জানায়, ছাবেদ আলী (৫৮) কৃষি কাজ করতেন। তার ছেলে গোলাম রাব্বানী (৩৫) রসুনের ব্যবসা করতেন। রক্ত স্বল্পতার কারণে দীর্ঘদিন অসুখে ভুগছিলেন রাব্বানী। তাকে ঢাকাসহ ভিন্ন স্থানে চিকিৎসা করা হয়ে। কিন্তু রোগ নিরাময় হয়নি। শনিবার রাত ৯টার দিকে রাজশাহী মেডিকেল হাসপাতালে নেওয়ার পথে মারা যান রাব্বানী। কিছুক্ষণ পর অ্যাম্বুলেন্সে ছেলের মরদেহ বাড়িতে আনা হলে মরদেহ দেখে হৃদরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়ে তিনি মারা যান। রোববার সকাল ১০টার দিকে তাদের পাশাপাশি দাফন করা হয়।
রাব্বানীর চাচাত ভাই রঞ্জু বলেন, চাচার অর্থ-সম্পদ যা ছিল ছেলের চিকিৎসার জন্য শেষ হয়ে গেছে। চাচা ও ভাইয়ের মৃত্যুতে পরিবারটি সর্বস্বান্ত হয়ে গেল। ধারা বারিষা ইউনিয়নের চেয়ারম্যান আব্দুল মতিন বলেন, খবরটি খুবই হৃদয় বিদারক। ইউনিয়ন পরিষদের পক্ষ থেকে যা কিছু করা সম্ভব আমরা সেটি করব।
