সংস্কার প্রস্তাব বাস্তবায়নে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলোর সঙ্গে প্রধান উপদেষ্টা ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূসের নেতৃত্বে গঠিত সাত সদস্যের জাতীয় ঐকমত্য কমিশনের বৈঠক বিকেলে শুরু হবে। কমিশনের প্রথম বৈঠক বিএনপির সঙ্গে হবে বলে জানা গেছে।
শনিবার (১৫ ফেব্রুয়ারি) রাজধানীর ফরেন সার্ভিস একাডেমিতে বিকেল ৩টা থেকে সাড়ে ৫টা পর্যন্ত বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক ড. মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস বৈঠকে উপস্থিত থেকে বক্তব্য রাখবেন। বিএনপি জানিয়েছে, জাতীয় ঐকমত্য কমিশনের প্রথম বৈঠকে দলের মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীরের নেতৃত্বে ছয় সদস্যের একটি প্রতিনিধিদল অংশ নেবে।
জানা গেছে, অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সরকার গঠিত ৬টি সংস্কার কমিশনের প্রতিবেদন নিয়ে বৈঠকে আলোচনা হবে। ইতোমধ্যে সংস্কার কমিশনের দেওয়া প্রতিবেদনগুলো অন্তর্বর্তী সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে রাজনৈতিক দলগুলোর কাছে পাঠানো হয়েছে।
অন্তর্বর্তী সরকার প্রথম পর্যায়ে ছয়টি সংস্কার কমিশন গঠন করেছে। এই ছয় কমিশনের চেয়ারম্যানদের নিয়ে গত বুধবার ‘জাতীয় ঐকমত্য গঠন কমিশন’ গঠন করে সরকার। এর নেতৃত্বে রয়েছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টা অধ্যাপক মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস।
কমিশনের ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে রয়েছেন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ইলিনয় স্টেট ইউনিভার্সিটির অধ্যাপক আলী রীয়াজ; যিনি সংবিধান সংস্কার কমিশনেরও প্রধান। বাকি পাঁচ সংস্কার কমিশন প্রধানেরা ঐকমত্য কমিশনের সদস্য।
