শেখ হাসিনাসহ ২৫ জনের বিরুদ্ধে আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনালে অভিযোগ দায়ের করেছে জুলাই-আগস্টের আন্দোলনে শহীদ আবু সাঈদের পরিবার। সোমবার (১৩ জানুয়ারি) শহীদ আবু সাঈদের ভাই রমজান আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনালের চিফ প্রসিকিউটর মোহাম্মদ তাজুল ইসলাম বরাবর এই অভিযোগ দাখিল করেন।
অভিযোগের বিষয়ে চিফ প্রসিকিউটর তাজুল ইসলাম বলেন, আবু সাঈদের পরিবার রংপুরে একটি অভিযোগ করেছেন। আমরা আগেও বলেছি লোকাল কোর্টে যতই মামলা হোক, যেহেতু এটা ক্রাইমস অ্যাগেইনস্ট হিউম্যানিটি, তাই এ অভিযোগ যদি আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনালে আসে তাহলে সেটা প্রপার আবেদন হবে।
তিনি আরও বলেন, আবু সাঈদের পরিবার নিজেরাই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে ট্রাইব্যুনালে এসেছেন। আজ তারা সেই ঘটনাগুলোর বর্ণনা দিয়ে আমাদের কাছে লিখিত অভিযোগ দিয়েছেন। এই অভিযোগের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে আমরা যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা নেবো। অভিযোগ দিতে আবু সাঈদের বড় ভাই রমজান ও তার সঙ্গে ঘটনার সময় যেসব সহযোদ্ধা ছিলেন তারা এসেছেন। তারা ২৫ জনের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ দিয়েছেন।
