পাকিস্তান সুপার লিগের (পিএসএল) আসন্ন আসরের খেলার আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেছেন মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান। বাংলাদেশি এই পেসার ইতোমধ্যেই ড্রাফটের জন্য নাম জমা দিয়েছেন।আজ বুধবার (২৫ ডিসেম্বর) পিএসএলের অফিসিয়াল ফেসবুক পেজ থেকে মুস্তাফিজের পিএসএলের ড্রাফটে নাম দেওয়ার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়েছে। মুস্তাফিজের ছবি পোস্ট করে তারা ক্যাপশনে লিখেছে, ‘বাংলাদেশের পেস সেনসেশন মুস্তাফিজ পিএসএলের ড্রাফটে নাম লিখিয়েছেন।’
আগামী ৮ এপ্রিল শুরু হবে পিএসএলের এবারের আসর। কাছাকাছি সময়ে আছে আইপিএলও। তাই আইপিএলে দল না পাওয়া ক্রিকেটাররা এবার পিএসএলের দিকে ঝুঁকছেন। মুস্তাফিজও তাদেরই একজন। আইপিএলে নাম দিয়েও দল পাননি এই বাঁহাতি পেসার। গতবারের আইপিএলে চেন্নাই সুপার কিংসের হয়ে খেলেছিলেন মুস্তাফিজ। আসরে ৯ ম্যাচে ৯.২৬ ইকোনমি রেটে ১৪ উইকেট পেয়েছিলেন বাংলাদেশের এই পেসার। তাই এবারও দল পাওয়ার আশা ছিল তার। কিন্তু দুই কোটি ভিত্তি মূল্যেও তাকে কিনতে আগ্রহ দেখায়নি কেউ।
এদিকে মুস্তাফিজ এর আগেও পিএসএলে খেলেছেন। ২০১৭-১৮ মৌসুমে লাহোর কালান্দার্সের হয়ে পিএসএল খেলেছিলেন তিনি। পাঁচ ম্যাচে শিকার করেছিলেন চারটি উইকেট। সেবার তার ইকোনমি ছিল মাত্র ৬.৪৩। পিএসএলের ড্রাফটে নাম লিখিয়েছেন বিশ্বের আরও কয়েকজন তারকা ক্রিকেটার। ফ্র্যাঞ্চাইজিটির সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে অস্ট্রেলিয়ার উসমান খাজা, ইংল্যান্ডের ডেভিড উইলি ও জেসন রয়ের নাম প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে।
