সাবেক পররাষ্ট্র প্রতিমন্ত্রী শাহরিয়ার আলম, তার স্ত্রী সিলভিয়া পারভীন, দুই ছেলে সাদমান শাহরিয়ার ও আহনাফ শাহরিয়ারের দেশত্যাগে নিষেধাজ্ঞা দিয়েছেন আদালত।সোমবার (২৩ ডিসেম্বর) ঢাকা মহানগর দায়রা জজ আদালতের ভারপ্রাপ্ত বিচারক মো. ইব্রাহিম মিয়া দুদকের আবেদনের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এ আদেশ দেন।

এদিন মামলার অনুসন্ধানকারী কর্মকর্তা দুদকের উপ-পরিচালক মো. সালাহউদ্দিন তাদের দেশত্যাগে নিষেধাজ্ঞা চেয়ে আবেদন করেন। দুদকের পাবলিক প্রসিকিউটর (পিপি) মীর আহমেদ আলী সালাম শুনানি করেন। শুনানি শেষে আদালত আবেদনটি মঞ্জুর করেন।

আবেদনে বলা হয়, শাহরিয়ার আলমসহ অন্যান্যদের বিরুদ্ধে ক্ষমতার অপব্যবহারপূর্বক বদলি ও নিয়োগ বাণিজ্যসহ বিভিন্ন অনিয়ম ও দুর্নীতির মাধ্যমে টিআর, কাবিখা, কাবিটাসহ বিভিন্ন উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের অর্থ আত্মসাৎপূর্বক নিজেদের নামে শত শত কোটি টাকার জ্ঞাত আয়বর্হিভূত সম্পদ সংক্রান্ত অভিযোগ অনুসন্ধানের জন্য তিন সদস্যের তদন্ত কমিটি গঠন করা হয়েছে।

অনুসন্ধানকালে বিশ্বস্ত সূত্রে জানা যায়, তারা গোপনে দেশত্যাগ করার প্রচেষ্টা চালাচ্ছেন। তারা দেশত্যাগ করে বিদেশে পালিয়ে গেলে অভিযোগ সংশ্লিষ্ট গুরুত্বপূর্ণ রেকর্ডপত্র পেতে ব্যাঘাত সৃষ্টি হবে। সার্বিক অনুসন্ধানকাজে বিঘ্ন সৃষ্টিসহ ক্ষতির কারণ রয়েছে। অভিযোগের সুষ্ঠু অনুসন্ধানের কার্যক্রমের স্বার্থে তাদের বিদেশ ভ্রমণে নিষেধাজ্ঞা আবশ্যক।
