করোনাভাইরাসের ভ্যাকসিন নিয়ে মানুষের মধ্যে দ্বিধা কেটে গেছে বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেছেন, করোনাভাইরাসের সংক্রমণে দেশের মানুষের চিকিৎসাসেবা নিশ্চিত করেছে সরকার। করোনার ভ্যাকসিন নিয়ে মানুষের মধ্যে দ্বিধা কেটে গেছে। সবার জন্য ভ্যাকসিন নিশ্চিতে সরকার কাজ করছে।

রবিবার গণভবন থেকে ভিডিও কনফারেন্সের মাধ্যমে নারায়ণগঞ্জে কুমুদিনী ক্যান্সার রিসার্চ ইনস্টিটিউটের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন অনুষ্ঠানে এসব কথা বলেন তিনি।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, করোনাভাইরাস মোকাবিলা করার জন্য ডাক্তার ও নার্স নিয়োগ দিয়েছি। এসব পদক্ষেপের ফলে করোনাভাইরাস নিয়ন্ত্রণ রয়েছে। প্রতিটা মানুষ যাতে চিকিৎসা পায়, সেজন্য চেষ্টা করে যাচ্ছি। এদেশের মানুষের ভাগ্য পরিবর্তন একমাত্র লক্ষ্য।

শেখ হাসিনা বলেন, বঙ্গবন্ধুকে হত্যার মধ্য দিয়ে স্বাধীনতার চেতনাকে হত্যা করা হয়েছে। ৭৫ এর পরবর্তী শাসকরা দেশের মানুষের কল্যাণে কোনো কাজ করেনি। আওয়ামী লীগ সরকার ক্ষমতায় এসে স্বাস্থ্যখাতকে উন্নত করা জন্য বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন, করোনা মোকাবেলায় যা যা করণীয় সরকার তার সব করেছে। ফলে এই ভাইরাস বাংলাদেশে এখন অনেকটাই নিয়ন্ত্রিত। ভ্যাকিসন নিলেও স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষাবিধি মেনে চলতে সবার প্রতি আহ্বান জানান বঙ্গবন্ধুকন্যা।

করোনা মহামারি মোকাবেলায় নিরসলভাবে কাজ করার জন্য স্বাস্থ্যকর্মী, আইনশৃঙ্খলাবাহিনী ও প্রশাসনের সব কর্মকর্তাকে ধন্যবাদও জানান সরকারপ্রধান।
