ঢাকা মহানগর গোয়েন্দা (ডিবি) পুলিশ কার্যালয়ে অসুস্থ সাবেক নৌ-পরিবহন মন্ত্রী শাজাহান খানকে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ (ঢামেক) হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হয়েছে।
সোমবার (৪ নভেম্বর) বিকেল সাড়ে ৩টার দিকে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়লে তাকে দ্রুত ঢামেক হাসপাতালে আনা হয়। সেখানে জরুরি বিভাগের ওয়ান স্টপ ইমার্জেন্সি সেন্টারে তাকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দেওয়া হয়।
যাত্রাবাড়ী থানার এসআই মো. মোজাহিদ বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন।
তিনি জানান, ডিবি কার্যালয়ে শাজাহান খানের জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ চলছিল। সেখানে বিকেল সাড়ে ৩টার দিকে তিনি অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়েন। পরে আমরা দ্রুত তাকে ঢামেক হাসপাতালের জরুরি বিভাগে নিয়ে আসি। সেখানে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দিয়ে ইসিজি ও অন্যান্য পরীক্ষার জন্য নতুন ভবনের মেডিসিন ওয়ার্ডে পাঠানো হয়। চিকিৎসক জানিয়েছেন, তাকে করোনারি কেয়ার ইউনিটে (সিসিইউ) ভর্তি করা হতে পারে।
