মুম্বাই টেস্টে ভারতকে মাত্র ১৪৭ রানের লক্ষ্য দিয়েছে নিউজিল্যান্ড। ছোট লক্ষ্য তাড়া করতে নেমেও নাজেহাল অবস্থা ভারতের। ১৬ রানের মধ্যে স্বাগতিকরা হারিয়ে ফেলেছে ৫ উইকেট। এতে হোয়াইটওয়াশের শঙ্কায় পড়েছে ভারতীয়রা।
আজ রোববার ম্যাচের চতুর্থ ইনিংসের তৃতীয় ওভারে প্রথম উইকেট হারায় ভারত। দলীয় ১৩ রানে আউট হন ওপেনার রোহিত শর্মা (১১ বলে ১১)। এরপর ২৯ রানে ভারতের নেই ৫ উইকেট। অর্থাৎ ১৬ রান যোগ করতেই ৫ টপঅর্ডারকে হারায় ভারত।
রোহিতের পেছনে আসা-যাওয়ার মিছিলে যোগ দেন শুভমান গিল (৪ বলে ১), বিরাট কোহলি (৭ বলে ১) যসস্বি জয়সওয়াল (১৬ বলে ৫) ও সরফরাজ খান (২ বলে ১)।

দ্বিতীয় ইনিংসে নিউজিল্যান্ড গুটিয়ে যায় ১৭৪ রানে। এতে জয়ের জন্য ১৪৭ রানের লক্ষ্য পায় ভারত।
