আওয়ামী লীগের ‘অবৈধ কর্মকাণ্ড’ দেশের জনগণ ভালোভাবে নেয়নি। তাই তারা যা করেছে বিএনপি সেটা করবে না বলে মন্তব্য করেছেন যুবদলের কেন্দ্রীয় কমিটির সভাপতি আব্দুল মোনায়েম মুন্না।
শনিবার (২ নভেম্বর) বিকেলে চুয়াডাঙ্গা সরকারি কলেজ সংলগ্ন জেলা শিল্পকলা একাডেমির মুক্ত মঞ্চে এক কর্মীসভায় এ মন্তব্য করেন তিনি।
নেতাকর্মীদের উদ্দেশ করে যুবদল সভাপতি বলেন, মানুষের ওপর কোনো অন্যায় জুলুম করা যাবে না। ইতোমধ্যে দলীয় শৃঙ্খলা ভঙ্গকারী এক হাজারেরও বেশি নেতাকর্মীর বিরুদ্ধে নেওয়া হয়েছে শাস্তিমূলক ব্যবস্থা।
তিনি আরও বলেন, ফ্যাসিস্ট শেখ হাসিনার পতনের পর বিএনপির ভারপ্রাপ্ত চেয়ারম্যান তারেক রহমান দলীয় শৃঙ্খলা ভঙ্গের ক্ষেত্রে জিরো টলারেন্স অবস্থান নিয়েছেন। তাই দলীয় শৃঙ্খলা ভঙ্গে দলের কোনো নেতাকর্মীকে ছাড় দেওয়া হবে না।
জেলা যুবদলের সভাপতি শরীফ-উজ-জামান সিজারের সভাপতিত্বে সভায় প্রধান বক্তা হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন কেন্দ্রীয় ছাত্রদলের সাধারণ সম্পাদক নাসির উদ্দীন নাসির, বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন কেন্দ্রীয় স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক নাজমুল হাসান, যুবদল কেন্দ্রীয় নির্বাহী কমিটির সিনিয়র যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক বিল্লাল হোসেন তারেক।
