নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন : দেশে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় আরও তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে ডেঙ্গুতে। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর এখন পর্যন্ত এডিস মশাবাহিত রোগটিতে ১৯৯ জনের প্রাণহানি হলো।
বৃহস্পতিবার স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের ডেঙ্গুবিষয়ক প্রতিবেদনে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৫৮৩ জন। এর মধ্যে ঢাকা সিটি করপোরেশনের ২৪৬ জন এবং বাকিরা ঢাকার বাইরের। এই সময়ে সুস্থ হয়ে হাসপাতাল ছেড়েছেন ৫৬০ জন।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের তথ্য অনুযায়ী, চলতি বছর এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৪০ হাজার ৪০৫ জন। এর মধ্যে সুস্থ হয়ে হাসপাতাল ছেড়েছেন ৩৬ হাজার ৭১১ জন।
উল্লেখ্য, ২০২৩ সালে দেশের ইতিহাসে ডেঙ্গুতে সর্বোচ্চ ৩ লাখ ২১ হাজার ১৭৯ জন আক্রান্ত হয় এবং মৃত্যু হয় ১ হাজার ৭০৫ জনের।
