নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : রোববার সকাল ৮টা থেকে সোমবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে আরও একজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। একই সঙ্গে এই সময়ে ভাইরাসটিতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন আরও ৬১৫ জন।
সোমবার (৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
এতে বলা হয়েছে, হাসপাতালে নতুন ভর্তিদের মধ্যে চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ৯৪ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি করপোরেশনের বাইরে) ১০৪, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ১৭৫, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ১৩৭, খুলনা বিভাগে ৬০ ও ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৬ জন রয়েছেন। এছাড়াও বরিশাল বিভাগে ২৪ জন, রাজশাহী বিভাগে ১৩ জন এবং রংপুর বিভাগে ২ জন নতুন রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে গত একদিনে সারা দেশে ৫৫৪ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ১৪ হাজার ৫৪৬ জন।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, এ বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত সবমিলিয়ে ১৬ হাজার ২৮৫ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। তবে চলতি বছরে এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৯৭ জনের। এছাড়াও গত বছর ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন ৩ লাখ ২১ হাজার ১৭৯ জন। মারা যান এক হাজার ৭০৫ জন।
