নতুন বছরে রাজনীতিতে ইতিবাচক ধারা ফিরে বাংলাদেশ এগিয়ে যাবে বলে আশাবাদী আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ও সেতুমন্ত্রী ওবায়দুল কাদের।
দেশবাসীকে ইংরেজি নতুন বছরের শুভেচ্ছা জানিয়ে কাদের বলেন, নেতিবাচক ধারার পরিবর্তে রাজনীতিতে ইতিবাচক ধারা ফিরে এসে নতুন বছরে নতুন আশার মালা গেঁথে এগিয়ে যাবে সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ।
শুক্রবার সকালে তাঁর সরকারি বাসভবনে এক সংবাদ ব্রিফিংয়ে এসব কথা বলেন আওয়ামী লীগের এই নেতা।
সেতুমন্ত্রী বলেন, নতুন বছরে করোনাজনিত নানান খাতে সংকট কাটিয়ে এক উন্নত, সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ বিনির্মাণে এগিয়ে যাবে সম্ভাবনার নব দিগন্তে।
২০২১ সালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার নেতৃত্বে ব্যক্তি, সমাজ এবং রাষ্ট্রীয় জীবনে সম্ভাবনার নতুন কলি প্রস্ফুটিত হবে বলেও আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করেন আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক।
ওবায়দুল কাদের বলেন, ‘দেশের রাজনীতিতে নেতিবাচক ধারার পরিবর্তে ইতিবাচক ধারা ফিরে এসে নতুন বছরের নতুন আশার মালা গেঁথে এগিয়ে যাবে সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ।’
সেতুমন্ত্রী আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করে বলেন, করোনা মহামারিতে থমকে যাওয়া পুরো বিশ্ব নতুন বছরে পাবে করোনামুক্তির মাধ্যমে নতুন জীবনের রুপ।
