মাসব্যাপী ক্রিকেট মহারণে অজিরা জিতেছে ১৬ লাখ মার্কিন ডলার বাংলাদেশি টাকায় ১৪ কোটি টাকা। এর বাইরে সুপার টুয়েলভ রাউন্ডে চার ম্যাচ জয়ের প্রতিটির জন্য ছিল ৪০ হাজার করে মোট ১ লাখ ৬০ হাজার ডলার। অর্থাৎ সবমিলিয়ে বিশ্বকাপ জিতে অস্ট্রেলিয়া পেয়েছে ১৭ কোটি ৬০ লাখ ডলার বা ১৫ কোটি টাকার বেশি।
অস্ট্রেলিয়ার কাছে ফাইনাল হারা নিউজিল্যান্ডের রানার্সআপ হিসেবে জিতেছে ৮ লাখ ডলার। এর সঙ্গে যোগ হয়েছে সুপার টুয়েলভের চার জয়ের ১ লাখ ৬০ হাজার ডলার। অর্থাৎ সবমিলিয়ে কিউইরা পেয়েছে ৯ লাখ ৬০ হাজার ডলার বা সোয়া ৮ কোটি টাকা।
