ভোক্তাপর্যায়ে এলপি গ্যাসের মূল্য বাড়ানো হয়েছে। প্রতি ১২ কেজি সিলিন্ডারের দাম ১৭২৮ টাকা থেকে বাড়িয়ে ১৯৪০ টাকা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে।

রোববার (১৯ এপ্রিল) এক বার্তায় এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ এনার্জি রেগুলেটরি কমিশন (বিইআরসি)। নতুন দাম আজ সন্ধ্যা থেকে কার্যকর হবে।

পাশাপাশি বেড়েছে অটোগ্যাসের দামও। ভোক্তাপর্যায়ে অটোগ্যাসের দাম ৮৯ টাকা ৫০ পয়সা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে, যা এপ্রিল মাসের শুরুতে নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিল ৭৯ টাকা ৭৭ পয়সা।

এর আগে, এ মাসের শুরুতে এলপিজির মূল্য ৩৮৭ টাকা বাড়িয়ে ১৭২৮ টাকা নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছিল। আজ আবার দাম বাড়ানো হলো।

এক মাসে দুইবার মূল্যবৃদ্ধির কারণ হিসেবে বিইআরসি বলছে, ইরান-যুক্তরাষ্ট্র যুদ্ধ পরিস্থিতিতে মধ্যপ্রাচ্য অঞ্চলে এলপিজির জাহাজ চলাচল বন্ধ হওয়া, বিকল্প উৎস থেকে এলপিজি আমদানিতে সময় ও জ্বালানি খরচ বৃদ্ধি এবং যুদ্ধের কারণে বিমা ও নিরাপত্তা ব্যয় বৃদ্ধি পাওয়ায় এলপিজি ক্রয়ে ব্যয় বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। দেশে এলপিজি সরবরাহ স্বাভাবিক রাখতে জাহাজভাড়া ও ট্রেডারের প্রিমিয়াম চার্জ অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন সময়ের জন্য প্রতি মেট্রিক টন ২৫০ মার্কিন ডলার পুনর্নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। এসব কারণে সার্বিকভাবে ব্যয় বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে। তাই দাম সমন্বয় করা হয়েছে।
