মার্কিন প্রেসিডেন্ট ডোনাল্ড ট্রাম্প প্রস্তাবিত যুদ্ধবিরতির মধ্যেই গাজায় সামরিক অভিযান চালিয়েছে ইসরায়েলি সামরিক বাহিনী। এ হামলায় হামাসের একজন স্থানীয় কমান্ডার নিহত হয়েছেন। রোববার(২৩ নভেম্বর) প্রকাশিত ইসরায়েলি বাহিনীর এক বিবৃতিতে বলা হয়েছে, নিহত ওই হামাস কমান্ডরের নাম আলা আল-হাদিদি।

জানা গেছে, হামাসের হেডকোয়ার্টার্সের সাপ্লাই শাখার প্রধান হিসেবে তিনি দায়িত্ব পালন করছিলেন। ইসরায়েলি সেনাবাহিনীর দাবি, শনিবার (২২ নভেম্বর) গাজাজুড়ে চালানো হামলার একটিতে তিনি নিহত হন।

তবে এ বিষয়ে এখনো কোনো আনুষ্ঠানিক কোনো বিবৃতি দেয়নি হামাস।

শনিবার (২২ নভেম্বর) ইসরায়েল গাজায় একাধিক বিমান হামলা চালায়। ইসরায়েলের প্রধানমন্ত্রী বেনিয়ামিন নেতানিয়াহু বলেন, হামাসের একজন যোদ্ধা ইসরায়েল নিয়ন্ত্রিত এলাকায় প্রবেশ করার পর এসব হামলা চালানো হয়। এতে হামাসের পাঁচজন সিনিয়র সদস্য নিহত হয়েছে বলে তিনি দাবি করেন।

অন্যদিকে গাজার স্বাস্থ্য কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, ইসরায়েলি হামলায় অন্তত ২০ জন ফিলিস্তিনি নিহত হয়েছে।

ইসরায়েল ও হামাস উভয়ই একে অপরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধবিরতি লঙ্ঘনের অভিযোগ তুলছে যার ফলে পরিস্থিতি নতুন করে উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ হয়ে উঠেছে।

গাজায় ২০২৩ সালের অক্টোবর থেকে চলমান ইসরায়েলি সামরিক অভিযানে এখন পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৭০ হাজার ফিলিস্তিনি নিহত হয়েছে এবং আরও ১ লাখ ৭৭ হাজারের বেশি মানুষ আহত হয়েছে।
