মঙ্গলবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে বুধবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে আরও ৬ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এ সময়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৭৮৮ জন।
বুধবার (১৯ নভেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে।
এতে বলা হয়েছে, গত একদিনে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে ৭৮৮ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। তাদের মধ্যে বরিশাল বিভাগে ৮৭ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ১০৮ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে) ১৩০ জন, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ১৬৬ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ৮৬ জন, খুলনা বিভাগে ৬৬ জন (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে), ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৫৪ জন (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে), রাজশাহী বিভাগে ৮৮ জন (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে) এবং সিলেট বিভাগে ৩ জন (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে) নতুন রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে গত একদিনে সারা দেশে ৯৭৩ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ৮৪ হাজার ৫৭০ জন।
