ঠাকুরগাঁও প্রতিনিধি : বিএনপির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর বলেছেন, আমি পরিষ্কার করে বলতে চাই আজকে জামায়াতে ইসলামী বিভিন্ন অযুহাতে তুলে দেশকে একটা অস্থিতিশীলতার দিকে নিয়ে যাওয়ার চেষ্টা করছে। আমরা এর তীব্র বিরোধিতা করছি। আমরা মনে করি এই সমস্ত বিষয় নিয়ে সমস্যা তৈরি করে গণতন্ত্রকে ব্যাহত করা বরাবরই জনগণ বরদাস্ত করবে না।

সোমবার (১০ নভেম্বর) সন্ধ্যায় ঠাকুরগাঁও সদর উপজেলার রুহিয়া উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় মাঠে দলীয় নেতাকর্মীদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় সভায় তিনি এসব কথা বলেন।

মির্জা ফখরুল বলেন, আমরা সব সময় সুযোগ পাই না দেশকে উন্নত করার, দেশকে ভালো করার। ১৫ বছর আমাদেরকে ভোট দিতে দেয়নি। এবার আমরা ভোট দিতে পারব। ভোট যেহেতু দিতে পারতেছি তাহলে সেভাবেই ভোট দেব যাতে দেশটার উন্নত হয়। আমরা (বিএনপি) বলেছি আমরা যদি সরকারে যেতে পারি কৃষক ভাইদের যেসব সমস্যাগুলো আছে- বীজের সমস্যা, সারের সমস্যা ও পানির সমস্যা। সেই সমস্যাগুলো আমরা সমাধানের চেষ্টা করব। আমরা অতীতেও করেছি।

তিনি বলেন, আমরা ফ্যামিলি কার্ড দেব। এটা মহিলাদের দেওয়া হবে। যাতে তারা ন্যায্যমূল্যে পণ্য ক্রয় করতে পারেন। একই সঙ্গে কৃষকদেরকে দেওয়া হবে ফারমার কার্ড। যে কার্ড দিয়ে তারা বীজ সার ও পানি ন্যায্যমূল্যে নিতে পারে। আমরা আগেই বলেছি এক কোটি মানুষকে চাকরি দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করব। আমরা রুহিয়াকে উন্নত উপজেলা করতে চাই।
