শুক্রবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে শনিবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৮৩৪ জন। তবে এ সময়ে ডেঙ্গুতে কারো মৃত্যু হয়নি।
শনিবার (৮ নভেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়।
এতে বলা হয়েছে, গত একদিনে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে ৮৩৪ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। তাদের মধ্যে বরিশাল বিভাগে ১৬৭ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ১০৩ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে) ২২৯ জন, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ২০৩ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ৬০ জন ও ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৭২ জন (সিটি কর্পোরেশনের বাইরে) নতুন রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে গত একদিনে সারা দেশে ৮১৯ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ৭৩ হাজার ৭৮৫ জন।
এ বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত সবমিলিয়ে ৭৭ হাজার ৩৪৮ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। চলতি বছর এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মৃত্যু হয়েছে ৩০৭ জনের।
প্রসঙ্গত, ২০২৪ সালের জানুয়ারি থেকে ৩১ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন এক লাখ এক হাজার ২১৪ জন এবং ডেঙ্গুতে মোট মৃত্যুবরণ করেছেন ৫৭৫ জন। এর আগে ২০২৩ সালের ১ জানুয়ারি থেকে ৩১ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে মোট এক হাজার ৭০৫ জনের মৃত্যু হয় এবং ওই বছর ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন মোট তিন লাখ ২১ হাজার ১৭৯ জন।
