রোববার সকাল ৮টা থেকে সোমবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে নতুন করে আরও ৯৮৩ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। একই সময়ে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে ৬ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
সোমবার (২৭ অক্টোবর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়।
এতে বলা হয়, ২৪ ঘণ্টায় নতুন করে হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন ৯৮৩ জন। এর মধ্যে বরিশাল বিভাগে ১৪১ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ১১১ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি করপোরেশনের বাইরে) ১৭১ জন, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ২২৭ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ১৩৩ জন, খুলনা বিভাগে ৬২ জন, ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৪১ জন, রাজশাহী বিভাগে ৭৮ জন, রংপুর বিভাগে ১২ জন এবং সিলেট বিভাগে ৭ জন ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে, গত এক দিনে সারা দেশে ৯৭০ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ৬৩ হাজার ৪১৪ জন।ৎ
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, এ বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত সব মিলিয়ে ৬৬ হাজার ৪২৩ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। বছরের এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মৃত্যু হয়েছে ২৬৯ জনের।
