শুক্রবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে শনিবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে নতুন করে আরও ৬১৯ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। একই সঙ্গে এই সময়ে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে নতুন করে আরও ১ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
শনিবার (১৮ অক্টোবর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
এতে বলা হয়, হাসপাতালে নতুন ভর্তিদের মধ্যে বরিশাল বিভাগে ১২৬ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ১০৪ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি করপোরেশনের বাইরে) ৪৪, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ১১৭ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ৭৬, খুলনা বিভাগে ৪৩ জন, ময়মনসিংহে ৩৩ জন, রাজশাহীতে ৭৫ এবং সিলেট বিভাগে ১ জন নতুন রোগী ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে গত এক দিনে সারাদেশে ১১২৯ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ৫৫ হাজার ৯৬৩ জন।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, এবছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত সব মিলিয়ে ৫৮ হাজার ৮৯৯ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। তবে বছরের এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মৃত্যু হয়েছে ২৪৪ জনের।
