রোববার সকাল ৮টা থেকে সোমবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত (একদিনে) ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে নতুন করে আরও ৭৩৫ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। একই সঙ্গে এই সময়ে ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে নতুন করে আরও তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে।
সোমবার (২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের হেলথ ইমার্জেন্সি অপারেশন সেন্টার ও কন্ট্রোল রুম থেকে পাঠানো সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এসব তথ্য জানানো হয়।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানায়, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গু আক্রান্ত হয়ে ঢাকাসহ সারা দেশের বিভিন্ন হাসপাতালে ৭৩৫ জন ভর্তি হয়েছেন। এর মধ্যে বরিশাল বিভাগে ১৬৬ জন, চট্টগ্রাম বিভাগে ৯৮ জন, ঢাকা বিভাগে (সিটি করপোরেশনের বাইরে) ১৫৬ জন, ঢাকা উত্তর সিটিতে ১২১ জন, ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটিতে ৯৫ জন, খুলনা বিভাগে ৩৯ জন, ময়মনসিংহ বিভাগে ৩৫ জন, রাজশাহী বিভাগে ৫৭ জন, রংপুর বিভাগে ১৪ জন ও সিলেট বিভাগে ৪ জন ভর্তি হয়েছেন।
এদিকে গত একদিনে সারাদেশে ৫৫৫ জন ডেঙ্গু রোগী হাসপাতাল থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন। এ নিয়ে চলতি বছর ছাড়পত্র পেয়েছেন ৪৪ হাজার ১৮৪ জন।
স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তর জানিয়েছে, এ বছরের জানুয়ারি থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত সবমিলিয়ে ৪৬ হাজার ৭৮৬ জন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। তবে বছরের এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মৃত্যু হয়েছে ১৯৫ জনের।
