নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক : ‘শাপলা’ প্রতীক চেয়ে নির্বাচন কমিশনের (ইসি) সিনিয়র সচিবকে চিঠি দিয়েছে জাতীয় নাগরিক পার্টি (এনসিপি)।
বুধবার (২৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) এনসিপি থেকে এক বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
নির্বাচন পরিচালনা বিধিমালা, ২০০৮ এর সংশোধন করে শাপলা, সাদা শাপলা অথবা লাল শাপলা—এই তিনটি প্রতীককে নির্বাচনী প্রতীক হিসেবে তালিকাভুক্ত করা হোক। এরপর যেন এই প্রতীকগুলোর যেকোনো একটি এনসিপিকে বরাদ্দ দেওয়া হয়। এনসিপির পক্ষ থেকে নির্বাচন কমিশন সচিবালয়ের সিনিয়র সচিব বরাবর ই-মেইলের মাধ্যমে এই আবেদনটি করা হয়েছে।
